Bit face design
Concave face
Concave bits are suitable for straightest holes in soft to medium
hard formations. These are most popular face designs.
Flat face
Flat face bits are designed to be suited for hard and abrasive
formations.
Convex face
Convex bits are used in hard rock formations, where penetration
rate is more important that the straightness of the hole.
Dual layer face
Dual layer bits are registered by Top Drill, the result of feedback
from the field for extracting maximum performance. Maximum drilling
effects have been gained by reducing unnecessary cutting. Dual
layer bits are best suited for Tornado hammer.
