Double row angular contact ball bearing is a unit composed of inner ring, outer ring, ball and solid retainer components. The retainer can be made from nylon, punching steel plate or brass. The structure of double row angular contact ball bearing is similar with a pair of slightly narrowed O-type arrangement angular contact ball bearing. The difference is design of contact angle and ferrule. The bearing is designed to open type and sealed type. Due to standardized manufacturing procedure, a groove is installed on outer ring of open bearing for placing seal ring or dust cover. Sealed bearing is maintained for free, therefore, especially economical bearing arrangement form can be achieved. The angular regulatory function of angular contact ball bearing is very limited.
Double row angular contact ball bearing can bear bidirectional axial force and higher radial force. Double row angular contact ball bearing is especially suitable for bearing arrangement to achieve axial rigidity guidance. Axial bearing capacity depends on contact angle; i.e., the bigger the contact angle is (the contact angleα=*5°, *5° and *5°), the bigger the axial load bore by the bearing is.
*8..-B, *0..-B, *2..-B and *3..-B series of bearings are inseparable and there is no ball gap on the surface of ferrule. The contact angle α is *5°. The bearing capacity of double row angular contact ball bearing is the same at two directions and these bearings are used widely.
