Yellow Iron Oxide (Fe**3H2O), also known as Hydrated Ferric Oxide,
is a yellow odourless powder and insoluble in water. It is
manufactured by the precipitation process using leach liquor a
waste from Ilmenite production.
Application : Yellow Iron Oxide is used primarily as a pigment.
The DCW story goes back to ***5 when the foundation stone of Indias
first Soda Ash factory at Dhrangadhra a small principality in the
state of Gujarat in West India, was laid. The plant was taken over
in ***9 and run under the name of Dhrangadhra Chemical Works.
