Product Description

It’s bitumen co-polymer formulation enables it to stretch and contract, allowing for structural movement and temperature changes. Water Barrier Sealant is highly resistant to chemicals and acids, such as hydrochloric, nitric and sulphuric acids, phosphate nitrates, ammonia and zinc chloride salts. It adheres to surfaces such as Aluminium, Galvanised iron, Stainless Steel, Zinc, Copper, Fibre Glass, Plastics, Bricks, Concrete, Cement, Wood and many others!  Water Barrier Sealant is water based and lead free. This enables you to work in closed environments without the smell and toxicity of solvents. It requires no primer, other than water and acts as a primer! It also does not bleed or leachonce cured. The Sealant has an excellent coverage of 1.7 m2  per litre, if painted by brush or roller and a coverage of  up to 4 m2 per litre when sprayed with an industrial sprayer. It dries within **4 hours in sunny places and in 8 hours in shady areas.  It can be permanently immersed in water, so it is the perfect solution to keep water in or out. The product is easy to apply with a fine sponge roller, paintbrush, or industrial sprayer. The product is in liquid form and black in colour.
