Description : Resin bonded Rockwool rigid and semi rigid slabs. Application :Thermal and Acoustic insulation in a wide range of applications from domestic appliances and structural uses to industrial applications. Particularly suitable for insulation of flat or slightly curved surfaces. Operating Temperature : Can be used at continuous operating temperatures of up to **0ºC. Fire Performance : Non-combustible - Tested to SABS ***7 Part V. Class I Fire Index - Tested to SABS ***7 Part III. Biosolubility : The IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer), part of the world health organization, has classified Rockwool as a group 3 product - not classifiable as to carcinogenicity to humans. The fibres Rockwool products are bio-soluble and will dissolve in lung fluid and pass through the body naturally. Permanence : Rot-proof, odorless, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.
