There are two main qualities of export oil in Russia: Urals Blend and Siberian Light. Siberian Light, produced in Siberia, has a lower sulphur content and lower viscosity than Urals Blend (a mix of heavy and high-grade oil of Urals with light oil of Western Siberia) produced in exclusively in Russia and extracted in Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous region, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan. Urals brand oil is often supplied through the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline and the Druzhba pipeline system but can also be delivered on export in view of proximity to ports of the Black sea.
