low cost stabilizer more potent and stable can be used as diluents also directly Technical details PERSTAB PEROXIDASE ENZYME STABILIZER/DILUENT Perstab is a stabilizer for preserving the enzymatic activity of peroxidase conjugates. Compared to similar products in the market, Perstab is more potent and its stabilizing action is retained even under fluctuating temperature conditions. Its low cost and easy usability offer great advantage for commercial production. Composition: Buffer (pH 7.2), enzyme stabilizers and preservative. Accelerated degradation studies: Peroxidase conjugate diluted with Perstab retained ****8% activity after 1 month even when stored at *7oC. This was tested as follows. TMB ready to use substrate (*0&#**6;l) was added to four micro titer wells (two each for blank and test). Enzyme conjugate stored in the presence of Perstab at *7oC for 1 month was diluted (1 to ****0) with the same and *0 &#**6;l of this was added to the test wells. To the blank wells *0 &#**6;l of Perstab was added. After *0 minutes at room temperature, the reaction was terminated with stop solution and the color developed was read at **0 nm. Difference in absorbance between the test and blank was used as a measure of enzyme activity and in the presence of Perstab, this value was always greater than 1.0. Storage: Should be stored in dark HDPE bottles. Though Perstab in stable at room temperature for 4 weeks, for best results it is recommended that the solution be stored at *4oC. The solution should be used within *2 months from the date of production. Quantity: 1 L and 5 L. The contents of this stabilizing fluid are non-toxic, non-irritant, and non-inflammatory.
