Around *0 Million Tons Magnesite is mined in which *5% Sparry Magnesite & *5% Cryptocrystalline Magnesite.

Estimated Resources of Magnesite are *3 Billion Tons, *2% of Magnesite resources accounted by 6 countries namely China *6%, North Korea *3%, Russia *1%, Slovakia *0%, Brazil 7%, Australia 5% & Others *3 countries 8%. Estimated Production of Magnesite is 8.5 Million Tons in which *9% accounted by China, *2% by Russia, 6% by Turkey, 5% by Slovakia, 5% by Austria & *3% by Other countries.

Properties
Magnesite, it is found in colors that range from white to black through shades of Grey, Red, Blue or Yellow, depending on the type and amount of impurity.
