Product Description

The KL High Dose Rate (HDR) afterloading system is a breakthrough product for brachytherapy developed by KLZ Healthcare. Substantial clinical trials have shown that the KL HDR afterloading system has a strong effect in treating cervical cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and cancers in other body sites for which HDR Brachytherapy is applicable. The system can precisely place the radiation sources directly at the site of the cancerous tumor to kill cancer cells and shrink tumor, thereby giving patients another treatment alternative when other kinds of treatment such as surgery, and EBRT are not applicable. Each KL HDR afterloading system comes with an afterloader unit and comprehensive treatment planning and imaging solution to control and monitor every procedure of the system. Brachytherapy applicator sets are also available upon individual customer request.
