The major focus of DHCD is to market, research and locate immediately available Temporary and Permanent housing possibilities for individual homeless children, those at risk, abandoned, displaced, HIV/AIDS children and Homeless Families with children (who are our Clients). The organization sprouted from one goal, to rescue children from the perils of homelessness and to educate the general public of this increasing danger, so that they would be sensitive to the spiritual and natural needs of children suffering from homelessness today. The major thrust of DHCD's charitable cause and mission is to create an outreach ministry where the involvement of the private sector will serve as a force to alleviate our child homelessness problem in America. DHCD is extending its outreach beyond child-homelessness awareness by including strategies for direct care services and a full range of youth programs through establishing orphanages.
