It is a fast growing species of trees which can be harvested at **7 years old. Provenance is PICOP which is proven to be highly resistant to gall-rust and other tree diseases. Tree farmers of Cararaga Region of the Philipines, considered an income generating that form part as their livlihood. The farmers use this in their agro-forestry projects where entercropping with coffee and rubber trees  can grow together along the lines, and also planting of cash crops which becomes the source of income for their daily need. So while waiting the harvest time, farmers can still have the chance of maximizing the uilization of their farm where also they allow their domisticated animal, goars and carabao browse themselves to feed. Farmers consider planting of the species as their investment and savings where **7 years they have exportable and pulp logs where the family can have bigger amount money.
