Cuff-Guard is a protective, disposable cover for the blood pressure cuff. This cover prevents cross contamination by the BP cuff. The cover is like a long thin envelope. The cuff slides intoour cover and the cover then touches the patient. Our covers can be applied and removed in seconds. They are very low in cost and offer the best protection for various diseases that are cross contaminated. VRE,SARS,MRSA are but a few of the diseases to beware of. Our covers also protect from blood contamination from patient to patient. Surgery uses the covers for rapid turnover and to ensure the cuff is not contaminated from patient to patient. Our covers are made from the same Tyvek material the Haz/Mat suites are made of.
