Dynavac® Large Filter Dust Collectors collect dust using fabric dust bags and for most applications are one of the most efficient and cost effective dust collector models. In these dust collectors, the dust filled air passes through fabric bags that filter the dust particles. The filter surface area required to collect the dust depends on the amount of dust and the type of dust being collected. 

To clean the filter, a quick burst of compressed air is shot through the filter media in the opposite direction of the dusty air. During normal dust collection, dusty air flows through the filter, and a solid layer of dust forms on the filter surface. A quick burst of air is shot through the filter using a pulse jet mechanism in the opposite direction which knocks the dust off the filter.
