Artémat has developped an innovative software architecture (BGS - Business Game Studio), which allows to create and manage in a flexible way business simulation in different application contexts. In fact, BGS support the definition of “personalized” business games that might be focused on specific economic scenarios, by means of a suitable metalanguage that allows to specify: 
* The underlying economic model, with its peculiar variables and characteristics. 
* The kinds of interaction companies may support with each other and with the market. 
* The graphical user interface. 

Another peculiarity of BGS is the support for the administrator to play an active role in the game, for instance, by arbitrarily modifying some of the economic variables and by introducing some unexpected trends in the evolution of the market
