BRIEF PROFILE SNS STARCH LTD has been promoted by a group of reputed and experienced industrialists and businessmen. SNS STARCH facility is located about **0 Kms from Hyderabad on Bangalore Highway. This facility has been set up on a *5 acre land with abundant ground water resource. The location is also at a vantage point in terms of close proximity of Maize cultivation area. SNS plant is supported by a 5 MW Power generation facility for captive use. The machinery and equipment installed are state of the art and fully integrated for the conduct of automated processes. Utilizing Process Logic control system uniform production parameters is assured. The *2 stage washing system employed helps maintain low protein in starch which in turn gives improved whiteness. Also the SO2 content is maintained at less than *0 ppm and the particle size smaller utilizing advanced grinding techniques. Initially the program is to manufacture Native starch. Manufacture of modified starches has been planned shortly. Our starch specification is enclosed. SNS Starch went on stream in July ***2 and has created a significant presence across the southern states and is now poised to enter markets in the west. SNS starch has made inroads into Adhesive, Textile Sizing, Paper and Food industries. Amongst the major customers SNS services ITC Foods, Britannia industries, EICL and BILT.
