Fashion Design Council of Uttrakhand, is an association of young & telented ladies designers of Uttrakhand, a Himalayan state of India, duly formed after taking proper consent from Fashion Design Council of India. It is headed by a creative and socially aware legend Ms. Suman Lata Pal. Basically FDCU imparts training to the native young ladies designers about Fashion Designs and different womencrafts. All the products made by the trainee designers are put for exhibition/ sale. There are certain unique designs selected for mass production and merchandising domestically as well as to abraod market. The charges collected are shared with the designers as well as with FDCU. The training is imparted by its body named as International Academy of Fashion Technology.
